A normal resting heart rate for adults ranges from 60 to  100 beats a minute . Generally, a lower heart rate at rest implies more efficient heart function and better cardiovascular fitness. For example, a well-trained athlete might have a normal resting heart rate closer to  40 beats a minute .

Headache  is the symptom of pain anywhere in the region of the head or neck. It occurs in migraines (sharp, or throbbing pains), tension-type  headaches , and cluster  headaches . Frequent  headaches  can affect relationships and employment. There is also an increased risk of depression in those with severe headaches .

Botany  is the scientific study of plants. "Plants," to most people, means a wide range of living organisms from the smallest bacteria to the largest living things - the giant sequoia trees. By this definition plants include: algae, fungi, lichens, mosses, ferns, conifers and flowering plants.

The  pancreas  is a  glandular   organ  in the  digestive system  and  endocrine system  of  vertebrates .  In humans, it is located in the  abdominal cavity  behind the  stomach . It is an  endocrine gland  producing several important  hormones , including  insulin ,  glucagon ,  somatostatin , and  pancreatic polypeptide , all of which circulate in the blood. The pancreas is also a digestive organ, secreting  pancreatic juice  containing  bicarbonate  to neutralize acidity of  chyme  moving in from the stomach, as well as  digestive enzymes  that assist digestion and absorption of nutrients in the  small intestine . These  enzymes  help to further break down the  carbohydrates ,  proteins , and  lipids  in the  chyme . The pancreas is known as a mixed  gland .

Blood pressure  (BP) is the  pressure  of circulating  blood  on the walls of  blood  vessels. Normal resting  blood pressure in an adult is approximately 120 millimetres of mercury (16 kPa) systolic, and 80 millimetres of mercury (11 kPa) diastolic, abbreviated 120/80 mmHg.
